Why I Built Check Site
I keep an eye on macroeconomic data — FOMC interest rate decisions, GDP growth, exchange rates, oil prices, 10-year Treasury yields, and more. The problem is that each of these lives on a different website. So every time I wanted a snapshot of the economy, I'd open a browser, navigate to one site, check the number, close it, then repeat for the next one. Over and over.
I wanted to register the exact pages where each piece of data lives and cycle through all of them in seconds — open, check, close, next. No typing, no navigating. So I built Check Site for myself.
One tap per data point. That's all it needed to be.
